Viewers of TV3 had the opportunity to see how old televisions are recycled in Lithuania in the feature “Old Television – Hazard or Valuable Resource?”, filmed at Elektronikos perdirbimas in Vievis.
The program showed how televisions are manually dismantled at the company’s facility: plastics, metals, glass, and circuit boards are carefully separated, while hazardous components such as mercury lamps are safely removed and treated in compliance with environmental and safety requirements.
